Just 20 minutes away by car, this once industrial & textile city has been going through many changes over the past few years, most notably in the city centre with areas such as City Hall Park. The UNESCO city of film is home to National Media Museum, which includes the UK's first IMAX cinema.
Saltaire Village is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. The village is home to Salts Mill, which is an art gallery, shopping & restaurant complex inside a former mill. It also displays many paintings by local artist David Hockney.
Saltaire itself has its own cafe culture and is a pretty village with beautiful architecture and parks. It is also close to Shipley Glenn Tram.
We must say no to pets and no children below the age of 6. Car parking is available about 50 yards from the house, and on street parking is available outside of the house at the back. Willow cottage is a grade II listed building, therefore we regret we are not wheelchair accessible.
